Biography

Rebel Renee Holiday, CEO of Life Design Enterprises, Inc. has 25 years experience establishing and developing companies in several industries. These included communications, design, image, personal development and corporate consulting. She always loves seeing lives change as people discover their potential.

From 2005 to 2007, Rebel Renee Holiday focused on serving companies in the business and personal transformation arena. This includes Generon Global, Inc., which launched from a Cambridge-based global consulting firm in transformational consulting and social projects. She has consulted with Mobius Executive Leadership, a premier boutique consulting and coaching company near Boston. She has worked with Ontoco, Inc. an ontological seminar firm based in the California Bay Area. Prior, she served as interim Managing Director of Gaiasoft International, Ltd., a London technology firm specializing in business performance transformation where she co-founded Gaiaspace, Inc., an innovative social networking firm.

Between 1997 and 2003, she was dedicated to assisting entrepreneurial companies launch and grow through several early-stage venture funds in the Washington D.C. Metro area. The portfolio companies were from virtually every industry: technology, alternative energy, bio-med, informatics, health, inventions, software, Internet and consumer-related firms, and located primarily in the Mid-Atlantic region of the East Coast. From 2003 to 2005, she managed Precision Communications, Inc. a corporate communications firm in Northern Virginia and worked on an information technology start-up. Ms. Holiday has consulted with dozens of entrepreneurial management teams for ten years.

Her business career began in Northern California. After attending UC Berkeley, Ms. Holiday sold investment real estate in the California Bay Area from 1979 through 1981. In 1981 she received the MAME (Major Achievement In Merchandising Excellence) award for Salesperson of the Year for Northern California. She negotiated and closed several land transactions that became residential communities and commercial developments.

Beginning her personal journey of self-discovery in 1979, she experienced an epiphany in 1982. Rebel realized that she was called to use her talents to help change the lives of others. Interested in transformation, she studied non-verbal communications, NLP (Neuro-linguistic Programming), Ericksonian Hypnosis and other methodologies for effective personal change. She entered a period of extensive research on aesthetic questions followed by intense training traveling across the United States for six months. She ultimately discovered and defined 96 patterns in the physical characteristics of men and women of all races. She named these patterns “Human Visual Design” and developed an information system that formed the basis for her work in Personal Congruence. Returning to San Diego, she founded her first company in La Jolla, California. Her Excellence Centers operated on both Coasts of the U.S., providing Life Design programs and personal executive coaching to over 6,000 individuals between 1982 and 1994. During those years, programs in professional excellence, image, and communication were delivered in over 200 corporations. Rebel’s later research confirmed her intuition that there was a direct correlation between an individual’s Human Visual Design and their Inner Essence. She wrote eight books on applying her system to image, design and personal expression and produced a television program. Her clients frequently reported life-changing results as the outcome of her work on Personal Congruence.

Since 1979, Rebel Holiday has been a teacher and a student of approaches related to human consciousness and transforming people’s lives. She received an award for “Contributing to the Development of Consciousness” by the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in 1985. In the 1990’s her work was recognized by other human potential leaders and teachers. Between 1982 and 1996, she further developed the innovative information system based on “Human Visual Design” that was foundational to her companies during those years. Her books describe how her design system could be applied to fashion and personal expression. She applied this fashion information system to her line of Rebel Holiday in New York in 1993 and 1994. Logical Enterprises, Inc. is licensing this system as an information technology for scalable use by consultants and fashion companies.

As a professional speaker and trainer since 1984, Rebel Holiday has enjoyed presenting keynotes and training programs to hundreds of diverse audiences in corporations and associations internationally. She has traveled to 43 countries for business and adventure.  Rebel Holiday has lectured several times each month for the past ten years to business leaders in major U.S. cities. She spoke on entrepreneurial business at the Small Business Association National Conference in 2004. She has developed many dozens of workshops and training programs related to personal and organizational transformation.

Rebel Holiday has taught classes to graduate students in MBA programs at many universities including, American University, Georgetown University, Massachusetts Institute for Technology (MIT) and University of Maryland. She assisted in developing curriculum for a Center for Entrepreneurial Achievement in 1999. She has written articles related to strategic planning, finance, entrepreneurial leadership and business development.

She has supported: Children's Hospital, The Burn Foundation, Kiwanis, Soroptomists, American Heart Association, Abandoned and Runaway Children's Center, Junior League, The House of Ruth, Beyond Beauty Foundation and others.

On a personal note, “Rebel Holiday” is the name on her birth certificate. Born in Chicago, the eldest of four children, she was raised in San Diego, California. She has been residing in the D.C. Metro area since 1989, when she relocated with her family. Rebel is the proud mother of two sons. Her oldest son is Lt. Brandon Holiday Wheeler, 24.
